  7. Bereavement Ministry - When a Catholic passes away, the Church asks that the funeral be celebrated according to the Catholic rite. The Catholic funeral liturgy consists of offering Holy Mass and prayers for the deceased, to implore God’s mercy that, through the redemptive merits of Jesus Christ, the faithful departed may be granted a place in the heavenly kingdom. This is the best thing that one can do for the deceased. Our parish’s Bereavement Ministry has been set up to help families go through the difficulty of losing a loved one. We visit the dying, console family members, help to plan the funeral and accompany the family during their time of grief. The Bereavement Team also holds a prayer meeting every month to pray the Rosary for the faithful departed. To learn more about the work of the Bereavement Ministry, please pick up a brochure at the church narthex. Should you require assistance, do not hesitate to contact the Bereavement Team.

  8. Sunday Missal is now available in the narthex at $4 each.
