  1. COVID-19 - For the safety of the faithful, the parish encourages the faithful to still wear masks when they come to the church. If you have symptoms of COVID-19, please stay at home and rest; when entering the church and receiving Holy Communion, please clean your hands with hand sanitizer and receive Holy Communion with your hands. Continue nodding your head to wish each other peace.

  2. Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary - Monday, August 15th is the Feast Day of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Solemnity Mass will be celebrated at 8:00 p.m. We will pray the rosary at 7:30 p.m. before Mass. August 15th is also the 38th  Anniversary of Fr. John Lung's Ordination. Please attend Mass and join Fr. John in giving thanks for the blessing of his priesthood. Refreshment will be served after Mass.

  3. Annual Mass for the Faithful Departed – The bishops of the Archdiocese of Toronto will be offering annual mass for the Faithful Departed at Catholic cemeteries on Wednesday, August 17. Mass starts at 7:00 p.m., please arrive before 6:30 p.m.

  4. Gift Card Drive - Starting from next Sunday, the parish will once again be collecting gift cards for Open Door to help children from needy families get their back to school supplies. Up until August 7, parishioners can deposit their gift card donations in the collection boxes provided. Please write the amount of donation on the cards. These can be from any department store. The cards collected will be distributed by Open Door to needy families in the community. If you prefer, you can also donate in cash and gift cards will be purchased on your behalf. Please show your care for the community by supporting this campaign so that children from needy families can get ready for the new school year!

Yee Hong Visits

The Yee Hong Visiation Group visits the seniors in the Yee Hong Geriatric Centre on the third Saturday of every month from 1:15 to 3:00 p.m. Through songs, games, Bible stories and gospel sharing, our volunteers help to spread the gospel message and bring some cheer to the seniors. Those who are interested in this apostolic work, please refer to the poster in the church foyer.

Memorial Wall

A Memorial Wall has been erected by the church to honour and commemorate the deceased. On a specific day of each month, there will be mass to pray for them. You may pledge for a name plate on the Wall for your deceased friends or family members.  Please contact the parish office for details.
