1. Saviour of the World Children’s Choir has been successful in the past 2 years. We performed at Christmas Masses, School Opening and Closing Masses, Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care in Mississauga, etc. We are now recruiting more children in grades 1-6 to our children's choir. Practices are held every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month from 11:50 a.m. to 12:20 p.m., or every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month from 4:40 p.m. to 5:10 p.m. New and returning members can fill out registration forms at our parish office. Our first practice will be held on September 15th and September 16th. To our current students, our upcoming performance will be held on Sunday, September 9th at our Parish Food Festival.

  2. The Parish Food Fest will be held on September 9th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. In additional to delicious food, there will be exciting performances. Food vouchers are now on sale at $10 each, with early bird price at $45 for five food vouchers. To protect the environment, please bring your tableware such as cups, plates and cutlery. Reusable dishes or takeaway containers will be available onsite at $1 each. Parishioners are welcome to provide food from your private kitchen for sale on the day of the Food Fest. Also, we need a lot of volunteers, if interested in participating, please register at the Food Fest booth in the narthex.

  3. Support Catholic Education - As Catholic, we should be supporting Catholic Education. Make Sure Your School Support Designation is English Separate (Catholic) on your Property Tax Assessment. It’s a powerful message in support of Catholic education. Even if you have been an English Separate supporter in the past, the designation DOES NOT follow you when you relocate. Every time you move or if there is a change of ownership, it is essential that you register yourself as an English Separate Catholic school supporter. Please verify that you are registered as an English Separate school supporter by checking the assessment section of your Tax Bill or Property Assessment Notice or your Voter Information Card received during an election year. To register or change your direction of school support, please fill out a form in the narthex and return it to the Catholic District School Board.
